Bruce Meighen, AICP is Logan Simpson’s president and CEO. Bruce works with the firm’s interdisciplinary leaders – planning, environmental, cultural and design to guide responsible change in all the firm’s endeavors. As a principal, he directs some of the firm’s most significant planning and environmental projects. Bruce has over 25 years of experience and is the recipient of over 50 top planning awards. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees in economics, urban design, planning and natural sciences from Champlain College, McGill University, and Georgia Tech. Bruce has successfully led over 350 plans throughout the nation. Bruce manages visioning, comprehensive, subarea, redevelopment, neighborhood, and corridor plans. Bruce also oversees large-scale environmental, NEPA, resource management, open space, travel management and recreational plans for cities, counties, and federal agencies. He specializes in using innovation, big ideas, and creative public involvement programs that result in sustainable and enduring projects.
