Our Values

Our History

On September 4, 1990, in Phoenix, Arizona, two determined young women embarked on a journey with just $2,000, one computer, and a laser printer, guided by the motto of “Organization and Tenacity.” With a background in landscape architecture, biology and private sector, these two women created Logan Simpson. Diane Simpson-Colebank played a pivotal role as one of the original founders of the firm. As the firm continued to grow, they stepped into larger environmental and federal projects and worked with native tribes in the West. From 2001 to 2015 the firm expanded into new locations in Utah, Colorado, and other Arizona cities while adding Cultural and Planning business lines to complete their goal of creating a truly multi-disciplinary firm.

In 2021, the leadership team decided it was time for the next level. Dedicated to upholding the firm’s mission, Bruce Meighen, a Principal, was elected as the new CEO and President supported by a team of visionary leaders who now own the growing firm. Seeing similar values in Bruce they knew he would maintain their family storyline, by doing great work, doing the right thing, being part of the community, and appreciating fun and humor. The company, under the firm’s growing leadership, now operates in every Western State – still guided by the underpinning of Organization and Tenacity.
