Biological resource surveys and monitoring at a Formerly Used Defense Site
Hurricane Mesa Test Site Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study
Logan Simpson prepared a Biological Resources Work Plan for use during a Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Hurricane Mesa Test Site on Bureau of Land Management, State of Utah, and private lands in Washington County Utah. Our biologists conducted planning level biological surveys to document the potential presence of federally listed plants, the Mojave Desert tortoise, raptors/migratory birds, and wetlands at this Formerly Used Defense Site. Logan Simpson provided biological monitors to oversee onsite investigations during the implementation phase of the project.
