The vision for the City of Caldwell Idaho’s comprehensive plan honors its heritage while embracing future growth through thoughtful development. It focuses on a mixture of housing, accessible community connections, and distinct spaces. The vision includes a Blue Cross Blue Shield health analysis, a targeted commercial and housing analysis, and special district planning, aiming to enhance Caldwell’s quality of life better than any other city in the region.

This vision was developed through a week-long visioning session and a questionnaire held at the historic train depot, where all the hard questions were addressed early on to ensure genuine public involvement. The results documented these challenging questions to capture true community input, reflecting a commitment to honoring the past while planning for a vibrant, inclusive future.
