Logan Simpson, in partnership with the Maricopa County Flood Control District, updated the Sun Valley Area Drainage Master Plan to help the City of Buckeye and property owners rethink ways to incorporate multi-benefit design solutions for flood management into new development. In the process of understanding and redesigning master plans, the team integrated refined hydrologic modeling, fiscal analysis to ensure market-supported strategies, and wildlife corridor planning to protect desert mule deer and bighorn sheep near the White Tank Mountains.
