Historic Archaeology

Hist_2Logan Simpson’s team of cultural resources consultants have extensive experience evaluating the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility of historic-age properties; conducting reconnaissance and intensive level architectural surveys and inventories; and preparing cultural resources reports, treatment plans, and agreement documents. We have completed historic streetscape assessments, researched and designed interprative materials and signage, and conducted cultural landscape inventories.

Our historic preservation projects have ranged in size from Historic American Building Survey (HABS)-level documentation of a single building to large-scale, intensive-level inventories of potential historic districts comprised of hundreds of buildings. Our cultural resources consultants routinely collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to complete complex tasks within aggressive budget and time constraints and excel at managing complex historic preservation projects through the NHPA Section 106 process efficiently.
